By the way, I just put together a little FAQ that people who are new to Ruby might find interesting reading.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ruby_programming_group/database?method=reportRows&tbl=1

The answers to a lot of these questions are easily found, but you would have to do a lot of prancing about to get them.

Taking them all in at once at a glance delivers a quick feel for the language, its origins, and its current power - I think.

And if you or anyone you know would like to join a new Ruby programming community on Yahoo Groups, please check out the group itself!

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ruby_programming_group/

I am hoping to get a lot of Ruby beginners and a few old hands.

Yahoo Groups has some good facilities for a community of programmers, so I think it will be very worthwhile.

Well, I think my problem there is a technical short-coming of Google Blogspot site.

They do not support Trackbacks. They do not even support tagging posts with a Category.

I like the way their templates look and it is pretty easy to customize.

The Category limitation, I am over-coming by using Technorati tags in my posts. Not much fun for me, but it works.

If there is some manual way to get Trackbacks to work, I have not read about it yet. I have my eyes and ears open.

Thanks for the hat tip!
