Sonjaya,
You can see now how useful some sign language might be, yes? I wil make you some copies of our DVDs, so that you have them when you return.

Keep breathing. Stay aware. Be conscious.

Thanks Mom and Tim for the words of encouragement -- it's a huge help.

This 10-day waiting period is very tough on us, but it is good for the kids.

Overall though, for this trip we are on our 14th straight day going to the baby house. We made a calendar for Dascha w/pictures because it is confusing to her why we are still here.

5 more days, 5 more days ... then off to Moscow :)

So overwhelmed with tears and joy for your family. It is breathtaking to witness, and it is an honor to be conscious of it.

The tantrums will decrease as they come to trust that you value their needs as much as your own, and want to find ways to meet them. Surely, this concept willl be new to them, so you just need to demonstrate it over and over and over again.

At the same time, once they become secure that you are their Momma nd Papa forever, they will express their need for autonomy quite definitively.

So, everything will be fine. Keep bringing your awareness to bear on these moments, and it will all work out. You were born to experience this!

Ah yes...toddlers and tantrums. I remember it well.
They are testing, testing, testing and as yet there is just no way to find their boundries.
It will be better when they are home. They will still have their tantrums and still test....but it will be clearer what the rules are and they will feel more secure.
Waiting is hard on everyone.
I've no idea what you said in Russian...but in Hindi I think 'shanti, shanti, shanti to you.
love

Glad to see you and Rhonda made it home ok. Tanya and I will be hoping for a quick court date for you.

And thanks for a reminder of our daily mantra -- the transition, for the kids, is not always ... ideal -- never realized how emotionally draining and physically exhausting the tantrums can be -- especially when they both throw them at the same time.

Lots of good moments too, but -- uy-ey-ey -- toddlers and 40+.

Ah...I do believe you are now truly parents.
We await you at the finish line...and we wing our thoughts toward you filled with whatever strength you can take from us to endure this last, long hurdle in this race.
love
